Leadwork
Over many years working in a commercial studio,  Pinkie was often asked to repair disintegrating church windows and saw crisp bags, sellotape and even an old plastic colander used as  makeshift repairs.
This work laments our lack of care,  not only for historical stained glass windows, but for the natural world so often celebrated within them. Here, the window has been disintegrating for so long that it begins to transform into a vine, wrapping itself around the wall.
